Our studies have shown that far too many people living in the vicinity of urban areas are facing hardship due to insufficient income with some bearing the burden of unemployment.

This has led to significant social challenges across all communities living in this country.

More needs to be done to help these people boost their income levels either through job creation efforts that provide employment opportunities or assistance programs that helps them achieve the ability to be successful independent business operators.

It is also important to nip the issue at the bud, so to speak, by tackling the educational needs of children from underprivileged families. Obtaining a good education is expected to improve the earning potential of these children when they grow up thus endowing them with a chance of getting out of the poverty cycle.
